Shao Wen drove over to pick me up and brought me to the Syuen Secret Recipe where they had a little surprise treat for me. It was really nice and though I don't really know Kave and Hardeep, they celebrated and were very warm and funny. Krishan and Jo were there too. We laughed a lot and then we headed to Navin's place to hang out. I had tonnes of fun. So, a million thanks to them otherwise I would have been home studying and having dinner alone.

Thank you also to Shu Qi for the book, to Adelyn for another book and the cross, to Sean and Dad for the little SE and especially Sam and Leland for the great Relient K album. I like Deathbed too, Sam!

Thank you for all the wishes too, be it on the net, by mouth or SMS.

I stayed over at Adelyn's to study last night where we gave our ears a treat by listening to the Relient K CD and also Lifehouse. Hmm. I realised that the person who actually influences my English and secular music preference is Sam. :)

Drama! Drama! Some stuff happened today. The glare of displeasure, the harsh message, the unanswered phone call, the abrupt answer, the silence. Woo-oo-oo-oo.

After CG today, SPLOT! Di-yan (I think) smacked a whole blob of whipped cream on my face. Surprise... CGMC style. Cream cream everywhere. There was the yummy apple cake which I think D picked out. YUM. It was really nice of Shao as CG leader to do this twice. It was nice.

All the silly pics will be up in the next post! Too lazy right now.

Ahaha. Great news, but it'll have to wait a few weeks first. :)

Old Town Nostalgia

I woke up early due to Karjie's incessant coughing in the wee hours of the morning. I had breakfast of hakka mee and beef balls in old town. YUM. I've always loved the interesting pre-war architecture that is abundant in old town. So, with Dad's encouragement, I took a few snapshots. :)

Yeah.. a million thank you's. :)

Fuhh. Almost 2 weeks not touching the comp. Fuhh.

The Taylor's interview was rather insulting.

What's your favourite Bible verse?
Philippians 4:13. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
What do your parents work as? Pastor? *smirks*
Dad: lecturer. Mom: teacher.
You don't seem to be making your parents proud with your results. In fact, you are creating lots of problems for them.

HMMPH. I don't think I want your partial scholarship anymore.

This whole thing was actually a business gimmick to gain 30, 000 students in 10 years.

I got the honour of being the 1ST to get a ride with Shao Wen as driver after the interview. Haha.

Trials. Fuhh. So far, so good except for History. I just crapped my way round the paper. But I enjoyed writing the UN essay question. Hopefully the science week will pass on well.

We had The Talk that day and I think it's sorted out.

We're going to Macau after SPM and STPM but that means no Youth Camp for me! That's sad because the Ps. Daniel is way better than last year's. But Macau will be a great experience. Winter time, Hong Kong also and China(?). Karjie's Shawn Yue in Hong Kong, Fu Haifeng in China? LOL.

Beautiful shot of Penha Hill

Macau here I come! :)

On another matter, I'm waiting to test my theory. The results will be known soon. :)

My Crazy Sakai ~meow

I hereby declare tomorrow, the 4th of September 2008, a holiday!

We had PJ after ages and probably our last. With 12 absentees and 13 bookworms only 9 of us played a "rule-less" netball. It was crazy because there were so few of us. By the time we we 15 minutes into the game, we were punctured. Nevertheless, it was fun and it evoked many wonderful memories of PJ classes. We also played jump rope. Kids. =)

Dear Little Miss Chin Hui got involved in an accident on the way to Genting. Thank God that His hand of protection was over the Ho family. She escaped unscathed except for several bruises while her family was spared as well. I don't really know the whole story as I can't find the time to chat with her. But, there was one casualty. I kept wondering, what if that one person was her? Would I even know whether she was involved? I thank God for getting to know this crazy sakai more this year. Despite her extreme craziness, she might be the few reasons for me to go to school. As Cik Tengku's class darling, she's an interesting entertainment, a species of her own, with her favourite tagline "Nyaaaaaa..". I have no idea what's it though. But, yeah, thanks to her..

-my Cantonese does not suck so badly anymore
-I get to eat good food on Thursdays
-I'm more open-minded and less serious
-I have more friends from different groups

So, thanks, Auntie. Don't hidung kembang, kepala kembang when you read this.
Got to get my hair cut for the Taylor's interview. I'm like a shaggy dog. =)
